FrothLogic Inc. doing business as Rent Jesse (“Rent Jesse,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) explains here how we collect, use, and share information when you use rentjesse.com and our rental search service.

Information we collect

• Account and contact details: name, email address, phone number, contact preferences, marketing choice, and sign-in and account information.
• Rental survey answers: locations, property and unit preferences, move-in timing, budget, pets, household details, age range, employment, income, credit range, and notes you choose to provide.
• Search and service activity: saved searches, results, preferences, property selections, and inquiry or email settings.
• Device and usage information: browser and device details, approximate network information, pages and actions, and diagnostic or security events collected by our site and service providers.
• Property information: details from property websites and other sources used to research and present rental options.

How we use information

We use information to:

• create and secure your account and provide sign-in links;
• understand your rental preferences and run saved searches;
• show, organize, and improve property search results;
• send service emails and honor your email settings;
• prepare a property inquiry only after you choose that property and separately confirm the inquiry details, when that feature is enabled;
• maintain, protect, troubleshoot, and improve the service; and
• meet legal obligations and enforce our terms.

We do not use survey answers about income, employment, or credit as details to send to a property. We use them to help understand rental fit. We do not make rental, credit, or housing eligibility decisions.

When we share information

We use Vercel to host and run the service, Neon to store account and search records, and Resend to send email. Exa helps us research properties. When property inquiries are enabled, Browser Use may help prepare an inquiry for a property you choose. Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, PostHog, and Sentry help us measure site use and diagnose errors. These providers process information to provide their services to us and may be subject to their own privacy terms.

We share information with a property only when you choose that property and confirm a specific inquiry. The confirmation screen identifies the details to be sent. Real-property inquiry delivery is currently disabled in production. We do not give property managers access to your full survey or account.

We may also disclose information when needed to comply with law, respond to valid legal process, protect people or the service, or support a business transfer. Property managers may pay FrothLogic Inc. doing business as Rent Jesse for referrals. That does not give them access to your account or full survey; any property inquiry is limited to details shown to you and separately confirmed, when the feature is available.

Analytics, advertising, cookies, and similar tools

We use Google Ads tags through Google Tag Manager to measure our ads and support remarketing, which can include showing ads later to people who visited our site. Google may receive page URLs and titles, browser and device information, ad-click identifiers, and cookie or advertising identifiers. Google Analytics also measures site visits. Google may use information it receives under its own privacy terms and your Google ad settings.

The Google Ads tags currently published on our site are not configured to send your survey answers, name, email address, phone number, income, employment, or credit range to Google Ads. We will update this policy if we change the information our advertising tags receive.

We also advertise through Meta services such as Facebook and Instagram. Meta processes information about ads you see and your interactions on Meta services under its Privacy Policy. Our current site does not load Meta Pixel or use Meta Conversions API, so we do not send site visits, survey answers, or contact details to Meta through those tools. If we add them, we will update this policy before enabling them.

We also use PostHog for product analytics and Sentry for error diagnostics. These tools may use cookies or similar technologies and collect device, usage, and error information. Our current site does not provide a separate cookie-preference control. You can block or delete cookies in your browser and manage personalized ads through Google Ads Settings. These controls do not necessarily stop data collection by tags on this site.

Retention and deletion requests

We keep information while it is needed to provide and protect the service, maintain account and search records, resolve issues, and meet legal obligations. Retention periods depend on the type of information and why we need it. You can request access to or deletion of your account information by emailing hello@rentjesse.com. We may retain information when the law permits or requires it.

Your choices

You can choose what rental preferences and optional notes to provide, update search and email settings in your account, and decide whether to make a specific property inquiry when that feature is available. You may also ask us to review or delete your account information using the contact email above.

Security and children

We use safeguards intended to protect information, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. Rent Jesse is intended for adults seeking rental housing and is not designed for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
